All-Star Challenge

The All-Star Challenge is a biennial tournament hosted at the Ice Line Quad Rinks in West Chester, Pennsylvania during the first part of April. The Challenge is a place for all the leagues of the ACHA D2 to showcase their talent and battle for the title of “Best League in the Land.” Additionally, the Challenge is used as part of the selection process for the ACHA's World University Games Team, which travels to Europe in October.

To ensure the NCHL will be able to send a team in 2021, and due to the nature of the tournament, we need at least 23 to 25 players, of which three are goaltenders. The tournament is a grueling five to six games over three days, with games being two (2) 25 minute periods. So the more players the better.

While the NCHL covers a portion of the expenses for the tournament related to uniforms, travel from Chicago, IL, lodging, and some meals, participating players are responsible for incidentals on the journey to and at Pennsylvania and a participation fee.
